Control ability and seating

The user needs to understand and operate the joystick, stopping, and speed control while maintaining suitable posture. Cognitive, visual, hand-control, or complex seating needs require professional assessment.

Turning, doorways, and ramps

Measure overall width and turning radius and check lifts, bathrooms, thresholds, and ramps. Straight-line doorway clearance is not enough; allow room to enter, exit, and turn.

Charging and transport

Prepare a dry, ventilated charging position that does not block escape routes and manage the battery as instructed. Vehicle transport requires checks for folding, weight, battery, and securement; a normal boot may not be suitable.
